The British Civil Service has published information on its website regarding the waiting time for the process of processing visa applications:
"We have unpredictable demand on all visa routes due to coronavirus (COVID-19) and global travel restrictions.
UKVI is working hard to process applications as soon as possible.
The Visa Application Center will contact you when your passport is ready to pick up. Do not come to the visa application center until you are invited to do so.
Processing of standard visitor visa requirements currently takes an average of 6 weeks. We are working hard on application processing to return to the 3 week service standard."
